Collection of Interfaces that constitute the K-Sim universe.

I thrive working with complex systems, where many touchpoints need to be aligned to create a holistic, user-friendly experience.

I use systems-oriented design methods such as mapping and visualisation, to better understand a project’s landscape, and identify pain points and opportunities.

I believe a designer needs to get under the skin of a domain to be able to develop solutions that are meaningful and relevant.

Digital design and other things here and there

I have been working as a digital designer for more than 9 years, in which I have gathered experience in wide range of projects: from web to native applications, from general consumer to professional solutions, and from conceptual work to pixel perfect interfaces.

I enjoy diving deep into UX and UI challenges, and learning new tools, methods and trends. At the same time I consider it important to have enough knowledge in adjacent disciplines, such as programming, service design, and business design.

Beyond project work

Besides project work, I have been a guest lecturer in different institutions, and held a module on ‘possibility driven processes’ at AHO (The Oslo School of Architecture and Design).

At AHO I have been a sensor and supervisor for master thesis in the field of UX design.

With a focus on digital design during my work day, I gravitate towards a more tangible side on my spare time, where I design knitting patterns, weaving structures, and like to draw and paint.
